44th Annual Fall Conference Keynote Speaker Victor Rios

Dr. Victor Rios is MacArthur Foundation Chair and Professor of Sociology at the University of California, Santa Barbara. He received his Ph.D. at the University of California Berkeley in 2005. Professor Rios has worked with local school districts to develop programs for students who have been left behind in their education.

Using his personal experience of living on the streets, dropping out of school, and being incarcerated as a juvenile—along with his research findings—he has developed interventions for marginalized students aimed at promoting personal transformation and civic engagement.

Registration

General Registration

Begins August 17, 2023

$447.70 per person (includes registration and processing fees)

*NO LATE REGISTRATION but a waitlist will be available

Note: If cap of 600 is reached during the General Registration periods, tickets will not be available during Late Registration.

Registrations will not be accepted after October 21st, limited emergency exceptions may be considered for newly hired analysts after 10/21/22 with written request from the employing agency. No walk-in registrations accepted day of conference. No exceptions.

 *Late registration does not guarantee that you will receive any conference materials (i.e., Pen, Notepad, Tote, etc.). On Thursday of conference, any materials not picked up by registrants who registered during early bird or general registration will be available on a first come, first served basis to those who registered during late registration.

Conference Registration Refund Policy

Hotel Room and Deposit Information

The CCAC hotel room block will only be available upon completion of conference registration. Rooms are limited and subject to availability. $152.00 per night (hotel charges and taxes will be in addition). In order to maintain the discounted room rates, a non-refundable deposit equal to the first night stay plus tax, per room will be required. No refunds will be given if the reservation is cancelled at any time.

The health and safety of attendees, speakers, exhibitors and staff are our highest priority. In partnership with hotels, CCAC will adhere to all official government and local authority guidance, as well as any venue or location-specific regulations.
